Easy run with David from Creekmore. Cold, getting colder, and very windy -- into our faces on the return leg. Averaged slightly under 10:00 pace. Very sore after weekend of moving.

Twelve on the mill at work with 8 at MP or faster. Felt pretty comfortable. Too many interruptions from the pager, but otherwise a very good run which kicked in some endorphins.

Slow 8 on the mill, as steady as my pager would allow :(

Ten on the mill, amazingly interruption-free (or limited interruptions anyway). Cranked out the last half mile at MP+, and threw in a mile of two of gradual uphill in the middle. Felt pretty good actually.

Progression run on the mill while Liza took care of the hyperactive pager. Cranked it up to MP plus for the last 11 minutes or so.

Did a lot of thinking as I ran too, as I have been for the last couple of days. It's not going to work with Jen, largely because she doesn't want it to work. I still care about her but I need to move on. Fortunately, I'm connecting with Dianne, who is available and, more importantly, interested. I'm excited about that, and so is Dianne. So I'm looking forward to a rapid transition to the next phase of my social life. I've been trying to get with Jennifer for weeks to talk about where we are (or aren't) and can't even do that. If I have to cut it off by text, that's what I'll do, but I'd rather not.
